Dolce & Gabbana Light Blue Will Take You to the Sky

Probably the most celebrated perfume in contemporary times, this is a perfume that remained in the best sellers which is considerably very rare and is a subject of intense curiosity.

For people who have only had a acquaintance with the perfume, which I’m sure is a lot – it is after all the most loved perfume by top perfumers and is always on shelves.

It is always worth a closer look to us all so I dared to delve into its allure. I can’t really help it when it comes again and again, appearing ceaselessly as if it’s dying and desperately in need of a closer look, I give in.

Dolce & Gabbana Light Blue was created a decade ago by Olivier Cresp and opens in a panoramic fashion in order to reveal a sheer amber accord accented with tart fruity notes. The effect is reminiscent of polished quartz stones, with all those little bits of embedded crystals that shimmers under the ray of sunlight. It is the same with this perfume, the dry feeling of chilliness brought about by amber and the lightness of green floral of spring and fruity notes. Thankfully, it does not change drastically on the skin.

On the first look the perfume can be indeed cheerful and has a dash of youthfulness to it. However, after using it time and time again for a few weeks, turning myself into a guinea pig for perfumes, I couldn’t help but notice that it is definitely appealing. It is very easy to wear but will clad you in a sophisticated character. It promotes a free spirit and appeal that is neither girly nor a product of clichés. The woody facet of the amber in this perfume gives off fruity notes and an intriguing character to make out not a sugary fruit punch scent but something that is a product of abstract sketch.

The striking thing about Dolce & Gabbana Light Blue perfume is its ability to diffuse and also its presence. The sillage or the trail that’s left in the perfume’s wake is absolutely marvelous – a sort of gossamer light yet distinctive and it is one of the most fascinating aspects of wearing it. It is never overwhelming, tiresome or even heady as opposed to some heavy sillage perfumes but the shadow of the perfume is always there.

No wonder this is the most complimented perfume out there.
