BCBG MAX AZRIA Dresses Spring 2012 Runway

Thanks for keeping it locked fashionistas! Runways, supermodels, celebrities and flashing lights, could it be New York Fashion Week time again? You guessed right! Arguably one of the most influential fashion showcases has the fashion world buzzing as some of the world’s most renowned fashion designers are finally revealing their much anticipated Spring 2012 collections. We’ll be posting highlights of our favorite looks of the entire week. Get our reaction to BCBG MAX AZRIA dresses below.

First we noticed a lot of flowing fabrics and vibrant colors for the BCBG spring collection. Above we see a casual knee length color block dress with double high slits. This elegant outfit is perfect for a warm weather getaway.

Next we spotted this spaghetti strap halter dress with red and grey color blocking. There is something laid back and very wearable about BCBG designs.

We get some more skin with this sleeveless high thigh slit day dress. We love this play on the little black dress with orange flowing side panels.

Another interesting piece is this light weight jacket with a nice color block design. The mix of lime green, yellow and grey mesh work well over another halter dress design from the collection. We like the light weight blue tail of the dress in contrast to the other citrus colors.

Towards the end of the show this bohemian style floor length dress stood out to us. Noted is the florescent hem and zigzag design. The kimono sleeves open up to show a little skin, but not too much.

The finale of the show was this cream printed orange lined floor length gown with super high slit and cut out neckline. The flowing fabric of this piece was amazing to see moving down the runway.

Overall, the line gave us all the treats of spring that we look forward to. Color blocking and prints we’re a stand out theme in this show. We also became a fan of the light barely there fabric. And lastly, the dangerous exaggerated side slits add a great deal of sexiness to the dresses. BCBG caters to a very specific customer and they know that customer well.
